About Lucas

circle-img

My name is Lucas and I was literally “rescued” by Forever Husky. I wasn’t wandering the streets or left in one of those scary shelters but I had been posted on Craigslist and tied to a tree for 4 months. A friend of one of Forever Husky’s volunteers called and alerted her to my situation and she came and took me in on a night when it was predicted to be almost 50 below! My owner claimed he brought me inside the house every night but when he tried to unchain me from the tree the lock was rusted shut!

I very happily jumped into the arms of my rescuer and rode to my new foster home without a peep. I’m a husky mix and I turned 1 year old on January 9th. Happy birthday to meeeeeee! I love to play with my new doggie foster siblings, I’m kennel trained, know basic commands and am starting to learn what this house training thing is. I like little people and there is a cat in my new foster home but I’m not particularly interested in it. I would love a forever family to call my very own and I promise to give you lots of love and kisses and love and did I mention kisses?
