About Georgia

circle-img

Sweet Georgia was surrendered by her family because she "has too much hair". Really? A husky with hair? Georgia is 6 years old and a true Georgia peach! She loves to be loved and craves attention. Georgia is good with other dogs but needs some more time to learn how to play with them. We don't think that Georgia was ever really given a chance to just play! Georgia has some trust issues and can be shy at first but once she warms up to you will be a friend forever. She loves to snuggle and will become your shadow. Georgia gets anxious in crowds and when there is a lot of noise and activity so will do best in a quieter household and neighborhood environment. She does not mind the crate but prefers to spend her day lounging on a bed. She is great when left alone and does not display any destructive behavior. Georgia is learning that people are not so bad and getting a treat for good behavior is the best reward. Georgia is being fostered in the city without a yard, so we don't know if she would be a jumper but all indications from her behavior is that she would be content to stay in the yard and hang out with her people.
