About Belle

Belle had quite the journey before coming to Forever Husky. She was surrendered by her family at Chicago Animal Control and then transferred to Anti-Cruelty Society. She was then put out for rescue placement and we were fortunate enough to get this beautiful girl! Now she is looking for her Furever home. Belle is 5-6 years old and still full of life and activity. She loves to go on walks and is excellent on a leash. She loves to just hang out in the yard and be outside. She is a laid back lady who enjoys being around her humans. She can get anxious if left alone but is ok if she has another fur friend with her. She definitely does not like fireworks and can get anxious with loud thunder but as long as her humans are nearby she is fine. She will go into a crate with a treat persuasion but does not like it much. We have been working with her to learn to play with toys as it seems she never had them before. She also has some broken teeth, probably from chewing on a chain in her former life but they don’t seem to bother her. She is house trained and good with other dogs. Belle would be the perfect choice for someone who is looking for a laid back, loyal fur friend to walk with and spend time with.
