About Za Za (Mae)

Zaza, our sweet red husky that came from California along with her brothers Garth and Jack is one timid girl that has yet to blossom. Zaza was born with an eye defect that was not taken care of until she came to Forever Husky in June. Because of her painful eye and unable to see only on the other eye, she had depended on her brothers for everything. She followed them everywhere wouldn’t go to anyone or anybody unless her brothers are with her. Because of her dependency with her brothers, she gets scared and hides and cowers when she is at unknown places. Zaza needed her eye removed to eliminate pain and further infection. At this time, she was also separated from her brothers during her healing time. During her separation, although she still looks and wants to be with her brothers, Zaza showed a different personality without them. Zaza was actually livelier and wants to play with other dogs. She became independent. She is happier without her defected eye. She wants to roam and see more of her surroundings. She no longer cowers or hide under a chair or porch. She wants to be seen and she wants you to see her. She wants to be able to run in a fence yard instead of trying to find a place to hide. She loves walks. She walks just as well as Garth and Jack. Come and meet Zaza and open your home to this sweet Cali girl.
