Elsa is a shy girl that came to us from Tennessee. She has some trust issues with people she doesn't know and needs a little time to get to know you before she warms up. A sweetheart who loves giving hugs and getting attention, Elsa is a Husky/Cattle dog mix. She weighs about 49 pounds, but that doesn't stop her from being a lap dog and snuggling on the couch. She is house broken and has not used a crate in her foster home. She does great on a leash and loves walks! Elsa is highly treat-motivated and is working on commands as well as obedience training. She does fairly well with other dogs, but has a dominant personality and needs a slow introduction. She has not been tested with cats or other pets. It’s possible that Elsa could adapt to other fur-siblings and learn to share, but she would more likely do best in a home as an only dog because she craves attention. She does great with kids of all ages, but prefers to initiate playtime on her own.
