About Sabre

Ms. Sabre is a "good ole gal" who you would never guess to be 10 years old! Despite the fact that she is blind in one eye (reason unknown) she does not miss a beat! Sabre was surrendered by a friend of her original owner who had agreed to care for her but for whatever reason changed her mind. Their loss and our gain as Sabre is a sweet ole gal that still loves to take walks, play with her squeaky toys and talk up a storm! She is definitely "mouthy", a trait of her breed. She loves other dogs as long as they are not "alpha" females like herself! She likes to be in charge and head of the household. Sabre would do best in a one dog family, while she likes to play with other dogs outside of the house, inside of the house is her domain. She is potty trained and does not like the crate anymore. Probably because she got the taste of a comfy bed and feels that age has it's privileges! She is very loyal to her owner and sticks close to you at home and when in crowded situations. Don't let age be a deterrent as Sabre still has a lot of love and fun to give. As well, because of her old ways, Sabre would like to be a only dog but doesn't mind if their's another dog in the house that prefers to be a couch potato.
